Former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick can’t seem to fit his foot into a pair of Gucci shoes.

“I can’t fit ‘em,” Kilpatrick told the court  when questioned about his lavish spending, yet not having enough money to pay back the City of Detroit $1-million in restitution.

At question is a $595 charge for a Gucci product.

“You didn’t buy any Gucci shoes?” the prosecuting attorney asked while Kilpatrick explained himself on the witness stand.

“I didn’t buy any Gucci shoes,” Kilpatick responded.
